On the morning of January 14, 2021, Peking University held a winter vacation epidemic prevention and control and spring semester preparation deployment meeting in conference room 1211 of Yanyuan building. Qiu Pingping, Secretary of the University Party committee, and hao ping, President of the University, attended and spoke. On behalf of the school's party and government team, Qiu Guangping expressed his heartfelt thanks to the party members, cadres, teachers, students and staff for their hard work and selfless dedication in the epidemic prevention and control work. In the face of novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic test, and under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, after the joint efforts of the whole school, we have achieved double victory in the prevention and control of disease and the development of our cause, which has made important contributions to the overall work of the party and the state, and has also promoted the steady development of all the cause of the North great cause. Qiu Shuiping analyzed the recent novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic situation, pointed out that the prevention and control of winter epidemic and the preparation for the spring semester are of great significance for coping with the epidemic situation, normalizing the epidemic prevention and control and promoting the reform and development of Peking University.
